Unless your caravan is one of the latest models, you probably won’t have an alarm installed in it. And even if you do, it’ll usually be to prevent entry and not to detect physical movement.

There are two primary solutions for the caravan theft worries you may have. Firstly, the classic hitch lock which stops anyone from hooking it up to a vehicle and driving away with it.
There are various manufacturers out there, but we’ve found that the Milenco and Saracen range to be most effective. In fact, we’ve had some good feedback from our customers about both product ranges defeating would be thieves so you can be sure they’ve been tested.
Secondly, you may also want to have a wheel clamp too! A very visual clue to security, a wheel clamp can immediately put off would be caravan thieves. Again, we stock Milenco security products but also have Excaliber and Nemesis wheel clamps available.

Trackers usually come with a 5-year battery and some even have a recovery service so when your caravan is found, it will be recovered and returned to you.
